Honestly? He’s not THAT bad now that I’m used to seeing him. He adds to the cast now, though he needs to be properly introduced first.

Aira had a more obsession with Okarun after he saved her, so that’s understandable but how she was before was deplorable. Jiji’s first impression was also pretty terrible, but that got off quicker than Aira’s.

Sakata is just suffering from the quick intro to the plot and lack of female attention. With how things stand, I’m positive the annoying class president is also going to join soon, at least as a supportive cast member like Momo’s friends.

It’s not 100% the halo affect as everyone’s heralding it as. His first impression was absolutely horrible. He just needs a touching story and more time to develop, along with another new female cast member to be paired with.
